Historical Background

Two thousands five hundreds years ago, historians wrote that Arabia Peninsula was the earth’s unique paradise; and especially the south of Arabian Peninsula. After around five hundred years, historians confirmed that sailors going thru Red Sea and Arab Sea were able to smell the perfumes coming from the Yemeni ports where Goods arrive from the entire peninsula.
Geographers have named Yemen “Al-Yemen Al-Saeed”, Felix Arabia, and the land of paradises.

Yemen Today

Today, Yemen is considered the most area of the Arabia Peninsula related to novels. Sheba Queen, the trade of incense, huge historical places, traditional architecture art; all these along with the charming nature has always attracted visitors admiration.
In 1962, September Revolution has overthrown the Imami regime and consequently freed Yemen from its isolation and made Yemen goes ahead towards the modern age. Since then and after the unity of Southern Yemen and Northern Yemen in 1990; the political regime in the Republic of Yemen depended based on the party political plurality, the freedom of opinion and the press.

Sana’a:


Old Sana’a: contains it main gate “Bab Al-Yemen”, its Old Fence, Al-Melh Market, National Museum “Formerly: Dar Al-Shokr”, Jews Square, and Al-Sa’elah ‘meaning: water drain’.
